Janken/ Jan Ken Po/ Rochambau (Conflict Resolution Dice)

Janken is more than just a game; it reflects the cultural richness of Japan and showcases the importance of playful interaction in resolving conflicts. Whether you're in Japan or elsewhere, embracing the spirit of Janken can bring joy, laughter, and a sense of unity among friends and colleagues.

The rules of Janken are essentially the same as the international version; players use hand gestures to represent rock, paper, or scissors.  Janken is also accompanied by lively chants and unique strategies, adding an extra layer of excitement and entertainment. Whether it's settling a dispute or simply enjoying time with a friend, Janken has become a beloved game that truly captures the playful spirit.

Level up your Janken game with these 6-sided, 20 mm conflict resolution dice, which feature white tactile graphics of iron (rock), shears (scissors), and a paper airplane (paper) on a charcoal black background.

The tactile graphic elements allow for non-visual access for individuals who are blind or have low vision to actively participate in the game first-hand.

During my visit to Japan earlier this year, I rediscovered my fascination with the traditional game of rock-paper-scissors, known as "Janken" in Japan. This game holds a special significance in Japanese culture as it is not only a casual pastime among friends, but also a method of decision making and resolving conflicts.
